IITaV : “Scale up the Business with ease”, Sameer Babbar

IITaV invites you to our upcoming talk on “Scale up the Business with ease” by our own alumni Sameer Babbar. Without resorting to complex techniques and technologies, Sameer will inform, entertain and inspire with his presentation that would guide small businesses to find gaps in the market and then finding market in those gaps. He would also provide insight on how to leverage information that is already available in business from a wide range of free sources to enhance revenue, cut costs, deal with Amazon and improve bottom-line without breaking the bank.

There is Metro Rail construction work happening around this building at the moment. Parking can be found on the Grattan street (Swanston street side, royal Parade side is closed) or Bouverie street. If coming by tram, use tram 19 and get off at Royal Parade at UoM, Royal Melbourne Hospital and walk to the venue. Or take tram to UoM on Swanston street and walk to the venue.
About the Author:
After qualifying as an engineer, Sameer Babbar, alumni of IIT Roorkee and Melbourne Business School, continued on his quest for knowledge and use of technology to help other businesses solve complex and challenging problems. He realised that to solve complex problems, business need to navigate information coming from multiple sources at rapid pace. He has worked with UN, Oil Companies, Mining firms, Telecommunication organisations, Transportation, Custom Services, National and state governments, regional councils, small and large businesses. He has recently authored the book “RETAIL REFRAME – How Smart Retailers Turn Data Into Dollars” which puts together his interaction and experience with organisations over many years with applications in brick and mortar and online retail.
